Payment for the total amount of goods ordered is taken by debit or credit card payment and is processed in total safety. By submitting your credit/debit card details, you warrant that you are authorized to make payment with the specific card and that sufficient funds are available for the order placed.

If you wish to place your order over the phone please contact us 0208 591 8221 with your order and card details or simply tick the PAY ON THE PHONE option when checking out and we will contact you for payment.  Please understand our shop and factory may be very busy on Production Days and weekends so you may be required to leave your details and will be contacted within the next 24 hours.  We strive to keep our customers happy and offer them the best possible service.


To place your order go to Online Shopping, browse categories and click on items. Remember to specify the exact quantity. Continue to shopping cart and check out. If you have any queries please contact us. You must be over 18 if you order Alcohol. We also have the right to provide limit quantities of certain regulated products. These terms and conditions are only relevant to contracts conducted with consumers.



Orders are delivered via our couriers to the specified address given upon ordering. Although every effort will be made to deliver goods as ordered between 9am & 5pm within 24 / 48 hours after ordering, Hunters Biltong can not accept responsibility for delays due to circumstances beyond our control. If you are not available to sign or accept your parcel on the delivery date, your parcel will be taken to the couriers nearest depot where you should arrange for collection or re-delivery at your own cost. If you are not sure please have your orders delivered to your work address. Any special request should be noted with your order. If you request for items to be left outside of the property and the item is confirmed by our courier company to have been left at the location given but when the recipient arrives the package is no where to be seen, Hunters Biltong will not accept any liability.  We arranged for a delivery which on your instruction to leave in an unsecure area subsequently goes missing it is unfortunate but is not the fault of Hunters Biltong.

*Delivery of goods over £50.00 is free of charge Up to 10Kgs it is then 35pence per kg thereafter, this will be charged separately to the order and payment can be made over the phone with card or by Paypal prior to dispatch (dependant on order value) .

*Additional costs may be added for delivery outside of the UK mainland, these areas include northern parts of Scotland, British Isles and Ireland.

Please note we DO NOT send out orders on a Friday.

Delivery Costs

Free delivery for orders over £50.00 and £6.95 for orders under £50.00 up tp 10kgs in weight  it is then 35pence per kg thereafter, this will be charged separately to the order and payment can be made over the phone with card or by Paypal prior to dispatch (dependant on order value) .

Delivery Charges (UK mainland only)

Deliveries will be conducted from Monday to Friday 8:00 till 17:00
We do not deliver at weekends and public holidays

Please note we do not send out orders on a Friday.

We cannot guarantee a time for delivery.

With fresh meats the customer must be at the property to sign for it. 

Further Information

All meat is sent out fresh unless stated otherwise on the packaging, you can keep refridgerated for 3 days from receipt and then product can be frozen and used within 1 month. Please refrigerate straight away after delivery and consume within 3 days.

Prior information

The consumer Protection(Distance Selling) Regulations 2000
You will be provided with information on your completed order, this will including:
  • a description of the goods
  • the price including all taxes
  • delivery cost where they apply
  • arrangements for payment
  • arrangements and date for delivery of goods
  • the right to cancel the order


Orders will be dispatched within 24 / 48 hours after ordering.(excluding orders made on Thursday after 9am, Fridays, weekends and public holidays)

Orders that contain meat / Boerewors should be placed before Midnight on Tuesday. 

All orders are checked twice by two members of staff to ensure that you order is correct.


Orders are subject to acceptance by the company and to availability of goods and will be invoiced at prices ruling at the time of acceptance.


Claims can be made through the Hunters Biltong by calling us on 0208 591 8221/ 0208 591 3557 or by emailing sales@huntersbiltong.co.uk. Any claims made before prior communication with the Hunters Biltong customer service department will not be considered. Orders sent via couriers will not be considered if you sign for them being received in good condition.

a) All goods must be counted if possible upon receipt.
b) All goods need to be checked within 24 hours after receipt.
c) Any claim in respect of the above should be made by telephone to Hunters Biltong service department within 24hr of the delivery and photographic evidence to be emailed to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it .
d) Credit may not be given for goods returned without prior agreement from Hunters Biltong.


If you are for any reason dissatisfied with any item purchased through our Online shop you may return them FOR A FULL REFUND.*
Please return items without delay. If after 14 days of delivery, Hunters Biltong Online Shop reserves the right to reject any returns. Please ensure you call or email a member of staff within 24 hours of receiving the product advising them of your wish to return the goods and the reasons why.    If you are returning the goods you will be elligible for the return transport cost unless we sent you the incorrect product.  

The Consumer Protection(Distance Selling) Regulations 2000

These regulations give you the consumer an unconditional right to cancel an order. This allows you the opportunity to examine the goods. If you wish to cancel an order, you must advise us with written notice within seven working days from the day you received the goods.

Where a contract is cancelled by you the consumer, you must ensure that reasonable care is taken of any goods received. You must also ensure that the goods are returned to us at your cost.

We will refund your money within 30 days of receiving the written notice of cancellation.

Refunds are not applicable under the regulation for orders of food and drink, un-sealed.


You may not post or transmit any material to this Online Shopping Site other than validated comments.
In case of any unprofound material postings, we will fully co-operate with any law enforcement authorities or court order requesting or directing us to disclose the identity or locate any postings.


Orders will incur 20 % VAT where indicated.
